The flights were conducted by Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, Pacific Airlines and competent agencies of Singapore.
The passengers included children under 18 years old, the elderly, the ill and others in difficult circumstances.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore sent its staff to the airport to assist them in completing procedures before boarding.
During the flights, disease prevention measures were carried out to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Right after landing at Can Tho International Airport, all crew members and passengers on the two flights were given heath check-ups and sent to quarantine sites in line with regulations.
More repatriation flights will be conducted to bring Vietnamese citizens with disadvantaged circumstances, depending on their desire and domestic quarantine capacity.
