Premier Li Keqiang and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong sent a congratulatory message on April 12, to mark the 25th anniversary of the China — Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park.
In the message, Premier Li said the Suzhou Industrial Park, with a pioneering spirit in reform and opening-up, took the lead in absorbing international advanced technology and management experience with active practice in innovation.
The park has achieved rapid development and promoted mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Singapore, he said.
Premier Li expressed his hope that the park can make full use of its unique advantages to expand administration streamlining, improve public services, further optimize the business environment, and promote international economic and technological cooperation.
He also said the park should improve scientific and technological innovation, and promote opening-up, and innovative and coordinated development at a higher level, to become a world-class high-tech industry park.
Lee Hsien Loong said the success of the Suzhou Industrial Park reflects the close cooperation among departments at all levels between the two countries, and hoped that the park can play a pioneering role in promoting cooperation between the two sides.
